Adam Beck - Climbing Guide

Adam Beck is a certified Single Pitch Instructor through the American Mountain Guides Association.

He grew up in Indiana and now lives in Nashville, TN. He climbed outdoors for the first time in the summer of 2000 at Red River Gorge in Kentucky.

Adam and his wife, Karina, started a guide service in 2007 which was later acquired by Fox Mountain Guides and Climbing School based out of North Carolina.  Adam represents Fox Mountain Guides in Tennessee, Kentucky, and Alabama.

"I love climbing. I love climbing with friends and being outdoors. Sometimes I'll spend an entire day at the crag and only climb three or four pitches. Other times I'll be getting in as many routes as I can muster! Sport, trad, easy, hard. Doesn't matter. What I enjoy is the experience of God's creation, hanging with good friends and family, and the climbing! I hope to be climbing for the rest of my life!"

If you are new to climbing, this is the BEST way to get started.  I had wanted to climb for a long time but didn't really know where to begin.  I chain of unusual events brought me to Adam (when the student is ready, the teacher appears) which triggered a love affair with climbing that exists to this day.  I've added Adam to this site as a form of gratitude and a way to say thank you for teaching me all I know about rock climbing and safety.  Please help me pay it forward by dropping Adam a note and consider his service if you're too thinking about trying climbing out.  I guarantee you'll fall in love with the sport and community as much as I do but I can guarantee you will receive some of the best guidance available and is close to home for us here in the Midwest.
